November 2016, Oracle JD Edwards announced the release of UX One. Available on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 188.8.131.52, UX One empowers users with the capability to personalise information that is relevant to their role, and to help them make informed and timely decisions.

Based around the “Alert, Analyse, Act” principle, users can personalise landing pages to display information based on their role and preference. UX One has 38 pre-defined user roles, for the list of roles see the PDF of JD Edwards UX One Solutions Overview, page 33.
Using the Page Composer feature, anyone can create and deploy EnterpriseOne pages without technical experience or developer assistance. Composed pages enable users to access applications, OneView reports, Watch Lists and several other EnterpriseOne components.

How Oracle’s UX One “Alert, Analyse, Act” principles work
Using Watch Lists, users can pre-set conditions and monitor alerts. User receives alert e.g. Invoice payment is due or equipment requires maintenance
Data visualisations provide analytics that enable users to review details of the alert. Results are provided on-demand with the help of query options. Then action required can be determined.
The Springboard symbolises “Act”.
Data visualisations with customisable forms
UX One is all about empowering users with the ability configure their own pages and forms. Users can:
- Drag and drop fields to create a personalised form
- Easily click to hide irrelevant fields
- Insert fields from another tab to the current tab
- Resize and reposition forms
- Rename field to make it more meaningful
- Save personalised forms for individual use or share with others
- Share with others with CafeOne layout
- Incorporate forms into personalised page with list view of the grid, forms and original EnterpriseOne applications in a single layout
Personal forms make it easy for power users or managers to simplify the user interface and only display the fields and controls that their subordinates need to use to perform their tasks. All this can be done without any coding or compiling. JD Edwards 9.2 also gives administrators all the tools to easily publish, share and promote these personalisations to other users or roles – no development, package builds or deployments required!
JD Edwards tools release 9.2 comes with the following (optional) pre-built components for you to use. You can easily copy, customise or create them from scratch.

- 338 E1 pages
